Cornerstone Church is the combined family of two local churches (Cottage Hills & Bethalto Assemblies of God) which merged in 2002. In addition Cornerstone merged with the former Northside Assembly of God in Godfrey in September 2010. Cornerstone is now serving the Riverbend Communities from two locations.

Cornerstone Church is not an independent church. We are an active member of the Assemblies of God. The Assemblies of God is a Pentecostal denomination based in the United States, with over 12,000 churches and nearly 3 million adherents worldwide.
